One of the best parts about summertime is parades and one of the best parts about parades is the candy! Today’s KKHPhotos.com picture of the week is a shot from a county fair along an old brick street. The folks that were participating in the parade had bags of candies and other goodies to toss out at the onlookers. I even caught a few treats myself. This little girl stayed out there close to the action and found herself a lot of treasures as the parade went by. She didn’t even seem to mind that hot sun and the 100 plus temperatures.

I loved the days when I was this child and when my kids were excited to pick up candy from the ground tossed out at parades. A lil’ cutie there.
Adorable photo!!
What a great shot! Timeless.
