Finally out of the car! I swear that road gets longer every time I head down it.
K and I have just made it back from a few days in our state capitol. This interview didn’t pan out so well; turns out that after they advertised the position they decided to close another facility and would only be needing part-time temporary help after all and plan to fill the position with someone from the other facility very soon.
But the trip was not a wasted one we got to hang out with #4, see ST on his birthday, spend time with #7, and visit L. Along the way we stopped at two zoos and caught a movie too! So all in all it was still a good trip. Bella Dog was, as usual, a good traveling companion and behaved herself very well for the most part. One of these days she will learn that #7′s couch isn’t for doggies.
Hopefully he will need to make that trip again for another interview soon. Job hunting is sure a tough sport these days.
While on the topic of our state capitol I thought I’d post an old shot from there as the KKHPhotos.com picture of the week…
