OK; we all know that a STOP sign is an octagon and that an octagon has eight sides. Right? So… even if you can’t see all eight sides you still know that it is an octagon. Right?
Now on with the post…
As I was driving home from a shopping trip today (on a two lane road) I looked in the rearview mirror and saw a little white car darting from one lane to the other; repeatedly swerving into on-coming traffic to pass one car after another narrowly missing many a head on collision as he zoomed down the highway and on past us leaving a view of nothing more than his rear end and his tail lights that were shaped somewhat like old cat-eye glasses.
As I pulled into the next town, just a few miles down the road, who do you think I saw pulling up to the red light just seconds before me? Yep; that same little white car. I recognized that rear end and those cat-eye tail lights. For all his carelessness and all his putting everyone on the road in danger and all his big hurry he arrived just mere seconds before the car with the cruise control set at the speed limit.
So my number eight picture is dedicated to you little white car with the funny shaped tail lights driving so recklessly down the highway….
I do hope you got where you were going without causing harm to any of your fellow drivers.
