First of all I wanted to say thank you to everyone for the nice comments and lovely messages about my Aunt. Even though I did not have time to respond to every one of them; they were all appreciated.
Now on to something a little less serious…
I gave myself a new challenge today.
I picked up the camera and said “I’m going to capture light in some unusual way.”.
Yes; I often talk out loud. It’s ok. So long as I’m not hearing any answers. 
No; I have not lost it!!
Anyway…
I took a look around the house. Now this old house is not very well-lit and we don’t always get much sunshine through the windows; especially this time of year.
But I did notice the sun was reflecting off the patio wall and into the kitchen window where I have that collection of red glass sitting.
I like that red glass; it adds a splash of color to this place. One of these days I’ll get around to painting this kitchen.
Well; I decided that light coming through the red glass was going to be my subject and this is what I came up with.

Not bad… I don’t usually shoot vertically so that’s a nice change. I should do more of that.
and I don’t usually go for close-up, tightly cropped, details either. Maybe I should do more of that too.
