Picture Of The Week – Natural Textures ~ Tree Bark

It’s KKHPhotos.com picture of the week time! OK; so it’s a day late again but hey! It’s Christmas time and we are all busy busy! Today I’ve got a good old close-up of the bark on a tree; don’t you just love all the colors and different textures on this one little tree? And is it just me or does that look a little bit like a Christmas stocking there in the middle towards the top?

Picture Of The Week – Freezing Rain

Holy Cow! It’s Monday again already.

That was a fast weekend; and a HOT one too. Yesterday our temperature topped out at 107 or maybe it was 108; not sure. But what I do know for sure is that it felt much, much, hotter than that. Our heat index (the combination of heat and humidity) reached as high as 111!

OK~ I don’t care who ya are; that’s HOT!

Last night, while I was doing a little keywording and cleaning things up a bit over at KKHPhotos.com, I came across this nice cool image of Freezing Rain. It seemed like a good shot to use as my picture of the week today seeing as we are still under a heat advisory this morning.
