Zoo-Hopping Part 3

Some animals are just sooo cute you want to pick ’em up and give ’em a hug. But that’s not usually a good idea. At least not with these two anyway.

This little red fox was just waking up when we got to his cage; he was still so sleepy he could hardly get his eyes open. However by the time we left he was off and running laps around the cage; good little guy getting in his morning exercise.

I almost think that there was a girl in my grade school class whose family had a pet raccoon once. I don’t know a lot about these guys but I think that cute little masked face is hiding a whole lotta sharp teeth and claws! I don’t think I’ll be snuggling with him anytime soon.

The week is almost over so we might as well end it tomorrow with one more posting of zoo animals… stay tuned.
