More From The Elder Elevator

One of the little towns that we pass by a few times a month is Woodston, Kansas. A while back D suggested that we stop when we passed and grab a couple shots of the old rusty grain elevators. You know, that Elder Elevator, from my post the other day.

Well I’m never one to turn down a chance to look through the viewfinder; so I said it sounded like a good idea to me!

After finding a spot to park where the car would not find its way into the frame we circled the elevators.

I’ll say the light could have been better, and it would have been nicer if there were a pretty blue sky with a few puffy white clouds that day; but there were enough interesting details on the elevators themselves that I think it made up for the lack of background.

Maybe I should spend more time getting shots like this closer to home. Good idea D!
