It’s Monday morning again! Boy last week flew by fast and the weekend even faster! Here it is time for a picture of the week again.
I have picked this little duck as the picture of the week today because I will be heading back to this little park again at the end of the week. I took this shot at Gage Park in Topeka, Kansas; this one little white duck had the whole pond to himself that day and was having a great time swimming with his reflection.
If the weather cooperates I plan to visit this park again and take another photo walk through the rose garden, around the ponds, and maybe I’ll be lucky enough to catch the little train that runs through once in a while. There’s also a dog park near there and Bella dog has never been to a dog park; maybe if it is not crowded she will get her first chance to visit.
If all goes as planned I will also visit another park and a lake along the way. Whoo Hoo! I’m excited I haven’t taken a photo trip in a long time. I really need to get out there and knock the dust of my camera. And who knows; I just might even get a second trip in the weekend after if all goes well. *knock on wood, cross fingers and anything else you can think of – I’m really tired of being stuck indoors with one migraine after another – come on head and weather lets all work together for a while!*
Added bonus — I’ll get to see K and hang out with #7 and maybe, just maybe, before the month is out I’ll get a chance to see all 5 of my sisters for a moment or two.
